Dr. Arnaud Colantonio, Ph.D., a research scientist at Harvard Medical School NEPRC, came to Marshall Simonds today to speak with the Team 7C students about the immune system. Dr. Colantonio spent time talking with the students about his decision to become a research scientist and the educational path that he took. He gave the students some insight into working in a laboratory setting and he spoke with them about the importance of the immune system and how vaccines work. The students asked great questions and were happy to have our guest speaker here with us for the day. A few of the slides from his presentation are below:
